Rural Health Care (RHC) Discount Program Information

See if your health care organization qualifies for discounted phone and internet service.

As part of the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1996, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) subsidizes the cost of Telecommunications Services, Internet Access and Internal Connections. The Rural Health Care Program (RHC) is administered by the USAC under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and provides discounts to assist most Rural Health Care Providers. The Federal RHC program is intended to ensure that rural health care providers pay no more for telecommunications in the provision of health care services than their urban counterparts. This web page explains how schools and libraries, serviced by Ziply Fiber, can apply for service discounts.

Ziply Fiber wishes to encourage their health care customers to apply for all possible discounts. There are several steps required and applications must be submitted each year.
