Your TV may be set to the wrong input.
Your TV’s Settings menu will include an option for switching the mode. The modes may include HDMI, HDMI 2, CABLE, AUX and others. Try each mode until you see live TV.

Let’s check the TV’s volume control.
Press the Volume button on your TV or its dedicated remote several times to increase the volume. If you still have no sound, press the Mute button to toggle muting on and off.

Let's check the secondary audio program settings.
While viewing live TV:
- Press Options on your remote control
- Select Help > Audio Settings
- Toggle between English and Spanish:
- If you normally listen to English, toggle to Spanish
- If you normally listen to Spanish, toggle to English
- Toggle back to your preferred language

Rebooting the set-top box can fix a variety of problems.
You'll need to reboot your broadband home router or residential gateway before you reboot your set-top box (STB).
First, log in and let our Automated Troubleshooting tool reboot your Ziply Fiber equipment. If you can’t log in, reboot your broadband home router or residential gateway manually:
- Unplug the device
- Wait 30 seconds
- Plug it back in
- Give it a few minutes to power up fully
Second, reboot your main STB. Your main STB is typically your DVR. If you don't have a DVR, then it’s the set-top box that is (A) connected to your broadband home router or residential gateway, or (B) synced to your video access point.
It's easy to reboot:
- If your STB has a Power button, hold it in for 15 seconds.
- If there is no Power button, unplug the unit for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
