The Ziply Fiber SafeConnect portal is the hub of your device protection, identity monitoring and Password Vault. All subscription-related information is available in the portal.
- Ziply Fiber SafeConnect covers up to 10 devices. To view your subscription details, select Subscription in the top menu. The main page shows when your subscription expires and how many licenses you have available.
- If you need to reassign licenses from one user to another, you can easily remove a device and install SafeConnect on another.
- If your subscription is about to come to an end or you have run out of licenses, you can extend your subscription or buy more licenses through the portal.
- To access or edit your account details, notification settings, or email address, select your name in the top menu. Then open Account settings.
Share SafeConnect with someone else
After accepting your invitation, friends and family members can create SafeConnect accounts of their own and install the app. Follow these steps to share your SafeConnect licenses:
- On the main view in your SafeConnect app or the online portal, select People & Devices.
- Select + Add device.
- Select Someone else's device > Continue.
What if someone I've invited is already part of a SafeConnect group?
If an invitation recipient already belongs to your group or someone else’s SafeConnect (or F Secure) group, you’ll see a message in the invitation indicating that the email address is already in use.
You can solve this in one of the following ways:
- Use another email address to invite the user to your group.
- Have the user delete the existing SafeConnect / F Secure account and re-invite them.
Remove or reassign a license
If you upgrade or change devices, or change the users in your SafeConnect group, follow these steps to release a license so it can be reassigned to a different user or device.
- From the main view in the SafeConnect app, select People & Devices.
- Select the user associated with the license you want to remove or reassign. A list of that user’s protected devices is displayed.
- Select the device that you want to release a license from.
- Select Release license.
To confirm the license release, you may need to log in to your account again and select Release license. You can now use this license on another device.
Releasing a license from a device does not uninstall the security app from the device. Uninstalling the app must be done manually from the device.
