Find out how to set up parental controls on a Windows computer, iOS device or Android device.

You can change Browsing Protection settings and Time Limits right in the Ziply Device Safety app. Change the settings by choosing a user's profile and clicking Settings.

Each account can have its own settings. For example, you can turn on Content Filtering just for your kids to prevent them from seeing unsuitable web content.

Set Up Parental Controls on a Windows Computer

  1. Launch Ziply Device Safety from the Windows User Account where you want to add parental controls.
  2. Click Parental Controls on the left-hand menu, then click Turn On (if it's not enabled already).
  3. Click Settings.
  4. To filter content, click Content Blocker on the left menu and click the top right corner toggle switch so it shows green. Click the checkbox for content to be blocked.
  5. To turn on the Search Result Filter, click Search Result Filter on left menu and click the top right corner toggle switch so it shows green.
  6. To set up browsing time limits, click Time Limits on left menu and click top right corner toggle switch so that it shows green. Adjust the amount of time this user may browse.
  7. Click OK to close the Settings window.
