Connecting to your Ziply Fiber internet service is easy

Unpack your self installation equipment

Your Ziply Fiber technician has connected fast fiber internet to your home. Now it’s time to finish your setup. In the green nylon Ziply Fiber bag you'll find:

  • 1 WiFi router (if leased from Ziply Fiber)
  • 1 Power Over Ethernet adapter (PoE)
  • 2 Ethernet cables
  • 2 power cables

1. Connect your Power Over Ethernet adapter (PoE)

  1. Plug one of the provided ethernet cords into the PoE IN port on the PoE device.
  2. Plug the opposite end into the ethernet port into your WiFi router.
  3. Plug the second provided ethernet cord into the PoE OUT port on the PoE device.
  4. Plug the opposite end into the ethernet jack in your wall.

2.  Power your PoE

  1. Plug the power cord into the PoE device.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.
  3. The power indicator will appear solid blue when on.

3.  Power your WiFi router

  1. Plug the power cord into your WiFi router.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

4. Connect a device to the router via a cable or WiFi connection

  • Connect any other device, like a laptop, to the LAN ports on your router to access the internet, or connect it to your network over WiFi.
  • WiFi device name and password are located on the bottom of your router.
