At Ziply Fiber, supporting youth sports isn't just about putting our logo on a jersey—it's about being part of the community. Across Idaho, our sponsorships are helping kids take the field, learn teamwork and build confidence, while giving families one more reason to feel connected to the places they live.
For Nicole Barnett, Ziply Fiber's Community Development Manager for Idaho, the importance of these sponsorships first hit home while she was still working in small business sales.
"I was working a booth at Coeur d'Alene on Ice, and countless moms came up to me saying, 'Hey, I love seeing Ziply Fiber here. You sponsor my kids' team, and it means so much to me to have you supporting them,'" Nicole recalls. "That was my first exposure to how much this effort meant to families, and the feedback was really heartwarming."
Since then, Ziply Fiber has supported a wide range of teams—soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling and more—in communities like Hayden, Lakeland, Spirit Lake, Rathdrum, Sandpoint and Moscow. Each of these towns has its own local pride and traditions, and Ziply Fiber is proud to stand behind the athletes who represent them.
The impact, Nicole says, goes far beyond the uniforms. "I've seen teams go farther in competition, and it's clear how much it boosts the kids' confidence to have the chance to travel, compete and put their energy into something positive," she explains. "It's giving them experiences they'll carry with them for life."
Behind the scenes, our Community Development Managers bring opportunities forward from local leagues, while sponsorship decisions are finalized centrally to ensure Ziply Fiber can maximize its support across all four states we serve. While the process is structured, the mission stays simple: back local teams and invest in the future of our communities.
Because when kids step onto the field wearing jerseys with the Ziply Fiber logo, it's more than just a game—it's a reminder that their community is rooting for them, on and off the field.
