Ziply® Fiber brings Curlew and Danville America’s fastest internet, with speeds up to 50 Gig

Public/private partnership through National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) grant supports fiber network expansion into rural markets

Kirkland, Washington (January 2, 2024) – Ziply® Fiber, home to America’s Fastest Internet, today announced that it has begun construction of a new, ultra-high-speed, 100-percent fiber-optic network in in both Curlew and Danville, Washington thanks in-part to a public/private partnership with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). The launch will enable fiber internet – with speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to America’s fastest home internet at 50 Gig – to more than 200 addresses throughout the two communities, with the majority of those addresses ready for service today and the remaining ones coming online in the next few weeks. This means Curlew and Danville now have the fastest household internet speeds in the nation.

Residents and business owners can check for fiber availability at Ziplyfiber.com and sign up to be alerted when service is available at their location. Residential customers can switch to fiber internet for as little as $20 per month and receive a $50 bill credit for themselves and any friend they refer. Details can be found at referafriend.ziplyfiber.com.

““Connecting communities like Curlew and Danville to fiber is a big step in our mission to empower people and businesses throughout the Northwest with access to fast, reliable internet,” said Harold Zeitz, CEO of Ziply Fiber. “We recognize that dependable internet is both a necessity and a powerful tool, and we want to ensure that every individual, regardless of where they live, can thrive in today’s digital world.””
