Here’s how to manage your voicemail greeting and passcode, save messages and more.
Access voicemail for the first time.
Callers can leave you messages before your mailbox is set up. To listen to messages and use other voicemail features, dial *100 from your Ziply Fiber Home Phone.
The first time you access your voicemail, follow the prompts to create your passcode and record your name or personalized greeting.
Access voicemail away from home
To check your voicemail messages when you’re away from home, dial your 10-digit home phone number. When you hear your voicemail greeting press * and enter your 6-digit passcode when prompted.
Create or change your voicemail passcode/PIN
A numeric passcode (PIN) is required to keep your voicemail secure.
Passcode Guidelines
The first time you access your voicemail you’ll be prompted to create a PIN / passcode.
- Choose a passcode containing 6 numbers. It should be easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess.
- Don’t use repeating digits (e.g., 111111), sequential digits (e.g., 123456) or any part of your phone number.
- Write down your passcode and keep it in a safe place.
- For more security, change your passcode regularly.
Change your passcode
Follow these steps to change your voicemail passcode.
- Dial *100 from your Ziply Fiber Home Phone.
- Press 4 for personal options.
- Press 1 for personal profile.
- Press 1 for passcode options.
- Press 1 to change your passcode.
- Enter your new 6-digit passcode and press the # key.
- To accept your new passcode, press 1.
- To try again, press 2.
Troubleshoot voicemail issues
Calls go directly to voicemail
Check the status of Call Forwarding and Do Not Disturb. If either feature is active, turn it off.
- Call Forwarding to voicemail: Press *73 to disable
- Do Not Disturb: Press *79 to disable
If calls continue going straight to voicemail, contact us to troubleshoot the issue.
Forgotten passcode
Your passcode is disabled after three incorrect tries.
If you forget your passcode, contact us for help.
