Brewster's Digital Transformation: A Ziply Fiber Success Story
At Ziply Fiber, we're proud to announce a significant milestone in Brewster's digital journey. As the city council designates September 8th as Digital Equity Day, we reflect on our groundbreaking achievement from October 5th, 2023 - the day we officially closed Brewster's digital divide.
Our three-year flagship project to connect Brewster residents via a cutting-edge fiber optic network wasn't just about installing cables. It was about transforming lives and empowering a community. We t Ziply Fiber believe in the power of connectivity, and Brewster's story exemplifies our commitment to this vision.
Working hand-in-hand with the Economic Alliance and its Broadband Action Team, we secured crucial funding, including a $3.9 million grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. This allowed us to extend our services not just to Brewster, but also to Tonasket, Loomis, and Curlew.
