Call Trace

If you receive a nuisance or threatening phone call, you can identify the source of the call and activate a trace record. Call Trace must be used immediately after you receive a call you want to trace.

Use Call Trace
  1. Immediately press and release switch hook and listen for special dial tone. (Already hung up? Listen for normal dial tone.)
  2. Press 5 7 and listen for a confirmation announcement. In some areas you will hear instructions to follow.
  3. Hang up.
  4. Contact Ziply Fiber customer service within 10 days. Ziply Fiber will be able to provide your local law enforcement with date and time of traced call. Ziply Fiber cannot release traced numbers to customers.
