Restricting Access

Use Parental Controls to restrict access to programming:

  • Set up a Parental Control to control access to programs, and a Purchase Control to limit VOD and Pay Per View purchases.
  • You cannot set parental controls on non-DVR Set-Top Boxes from the main DVR list.
  • To restrict playback, create a PIN through the main DVR. This prevents access to recorded TV from all non-DVR Set-Top Boxes.
  • Select Settings, System, Parental/Purchase from the Main Menu of the Set-Top Box.
