We sat down with Cassie Porcella, Senior Manager of Sales Operations, who offered some insights into the team's role, challenges and approach.

The team's day-to-day responsibilities are varied. "Salespeople are out there engaging with customers, whether it's a cold call or face-to-face interaction," Cassie explains. "Their role is to identify customer pain points and offer tailored solutions. It's all about building relationships and becoming a trusted partner who listens, understands and delivers."

But sales aren't without their challenges. "Getting people to answer the phone—that's probably the hardest part," Cassie admits. "The initial conversation is key, and often, it's all about persistence."

"While our salespeople are the ones who close the deals, there's a whole team behind them supporting every step," she points out. From marketing and sales operations to order writing and project management, everyone plays a part in ensuring a smooth customer experience. "It's a really innovative and growth-minded environment. For example, when an order comes in, Cassie's team works with the order writing group to ensure it is entered properly into the backend system. Then, the project management team takes over, guiding the customer through the installation process. "They're the eyes and ears for the customer during the project," Cassie notes, emphasizing the importance of communication and customer support throughout.
