International calling rates
Use our downloadable rate card to determine the cost of international calls with one of our World Calling Plans added to your Ziply Fiber Home Phone service.
Without one of our international calling plans, you're charged a per-minute rate for international calls. Find a list of international locations and their per-minute call rates here.
Can’t call long distance
- If your payment is past due, long distance calling may be restricted.
- Call Forwarding can also prevent long distance calls. To turn off Call Forwarding, press *73 on your Ziply Fiber Home Phone.
Changing your calling plan: Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my plan mid-cycle, or does it wait until my next bill cycle?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time during your billing cycle. You don't have to wait until the next cycle starts.
If I upgrade my plan, do I get a new bucket of minutes, or do I finish my current one first?
When you upgrade, you receive a new bucket of minutes right away.
If I downgrade my plan, what happens to my remaining minutes?
When changing your plan, your new bucket of minutes starts immediately. Any minutes remaining in your current bucket are forfeited and do not carry over to your new plan.
If I downgrade (for example, from 500 to 300 minutes) after I've already used more than my new limit, how are overages calculated?
Overages are calculated on a per-minute basis, and the rate you're charged depends on the country you called.

Prevent your long-distance service from being switched
Ziply Fiber can prevent your phone service from being switched without your consent by placing a Primary Interexchange Carrier (PIC) freeze on your account.
To comply with FCC regulations, we can only add a PIC freeze with your authorization.
Removing a PIC freeze
Once a PIC freeze has been added, you’ll need to contact us to remove it before changing to a new phone-service in the future.
