Ziply Fiber Expands its Data Center Presence in Washington State with H5 Data Centers in Seattle and Quincy
New Point of Presence will Enable More Cost-Effective Connectivity Options to Companies at Top Tier III Data Centers
Denver, CO – October 26, 2021
H5 Data Centers, a national colocation and wholesale data center provider, today announced the expansion of Ziply Fiber to its data centers in downtown Seattle and in Quincy, Washington. Ziply Fiber is a leading provider of commercial-grade networks that is purpose-built for the Internet and represents an additional carrier available at H5 Data Centers’ Tier III facilities.
“We are excited to work with H5 Data Centers and provide businesses with the access they need to connect to our network, which is designed and purpose-built for speed, reliability, capacity, and security,” said Chris Gellos, vice president and general manager of commercial for Ziply Fiber. “Businesses commonly need data centers in order to meet high-performance standards that are critical to their business’s success, the Ziply Fiber network was built to surpass these standards."
Ziply Fiber has been aggressively expanding its fiber footprint since it acquired the Northwest operations of Frontier Communications in May 2020, with the goal of moving from roughly 30 percent to more than 80 percent of its territory having access to fiber in the next three years, enabling businesses throughout its four-state region.
As Ziply Fiber continues its rollout of fiber-based services across the region, the company will support H5 Data Centers' growing customer base of Fortune 500 enterprises, content delivery networks (CDNs), and cloud service providers, which seek to improve their mission-critical operations.
