Big Picture
Kirkland, Washington (August 14, 2025)—America’s Fastest Home Internet provider, Ziply® Fiber, announced today that its new, ultra-high-speed, 100-percent fiber-optic network is ready for service in New Meadows, Idaho. Service is available today to the first 300 addresses of the more than 900 being built across the city. Construction to the remaining homes and businesses will continue over the coming weeks.
Why it Matters
The construction of this new fiber network is important because across much of the country, smaller communities like New Meadows often get overlooked by internet service providers, many of whom still rely on outdated cable or copper infrastructure, which were never designed to handle today’s internet needs and speeds. With its true end-to-end fiber network, Ziply Fiber is ensuring communities have the infrastructure critical to support the increasing demands of today and for many years to come.
“Bringing our advanced fiber network to New Meadows marks a significant milestone in enhancing the digital experience for everyone who calls this great community home,” said Harold Zeitz, CEO of Ziply Fiber. “Today’s launch goes beyond establishing fast, reliable connectivity; we want the residents and businesses of New Meadows to feel they have the power to do anything they want and can dream of online and we believe our network will help them do just that.”
