Frequently Asked Questions

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a government program operated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that reduces one eligible household’s broadband internet access service bill by up to $30 per month. The ACP benefit is only available to eligible customers that qualify for participation.

Eligible customers will receive up to $30/month off broadband internet services. Qualified low-income households may apply the ACP benefit to any broadband internet service plan available in their area. The ACP benefit can only be used with one provider at a time and only available to one qualifying household. If the ACP ends, you transfer your ACP benefit to another provider but continue to receive broadband internet service or de-enroll from ACP, the full, un-discounted retail rate of Ziply Fiber 300/300 plus Ziply Fiber router and general terms and conditions of service apply.

A household may qualify based on income, or if enrolled in LifeLine, or eligible government assistance programs. Find out if you qualify at https://www.affordableconnectivity.gov/do-i-qualify/.

After you’re approved for the ACP, a discount credit will be applied to your account. This discount credit will go towards your monthly internet service. However, depending on when you sign up for ACP, your credit may not appear until the second billing statement.

You will receive your ACP credit as long as you remain eligible for the program and the federal government continues to provide funding. The federal government may periodically seek to confirm participants' eligibility. Enrolled customers will be notified before the program ends.

The ACP credit cannot be applied to your bill until you have been approved for the program. You may sign up for Ziply Fiber internet at any time, and the credit can be applied to future bills after we have confirmed your ACP approval.
