Requirements for Computer Security Pro

Computer Security Pro is not available to new customers.

Windows Apple
Computer Security Pro is designed for the following Windows operating systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (all versions of Home, Pro, Enterprise and Education, both 32-bit and 64-bit editions)
  • Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (all 32-bit and 64-bit editions)
  • Microsoft Windows 7 (all 32-bit and 64-bit editions)
  • Microsoft Windows Vista (all 32-bit and 64-bit editions)
  • Microsoft Windows XP SP3 (32-bit editions only)
Note: All operating systems are required to have the latest Service Pack installed.

The following system requirements are needed:
  • Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, and Vista
    • Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2GHz or higher
    • Memory: 1GB on 32-bit systems / 2GB on 64-bit systems or more
    • Disk space: 1 GB free disk space
    • Display with resolution 1024 x 768 or higher
    • Internet Connection: An internet connection is required to validate your subscription, receive product updates, and use the cloud-based detection.
  • Microsoft Windows XP SP3
    • Processor: Intel Pentium III 1Gz or higher
    • Memory: 512 MB or more
    • Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP SP3
    • Disk space: 1 GB free disk space
    • Display with resolution 800 x 600 or higher
    • Internet Connection: An internet connection is required to validate your subscription, receive product updates, and use the cloud-based detection.
 Computer Security Pro is designed for the following Mac operating systems:
  • OS X version 10.12 Sierra
  • OS X version 10.11 El Capitan
  • OS X version 10.10 Yosemite
  • Mac OS X version 10.9 Mavericks
  • Mac OS X version 10.8 Mountain Lion
The following system requirements are needed:
  • Intel processor
  • 250 MB of free disk space
  • 1 GB or more of memory is recommended
  • Internet Connection: An internet connection is required in order to validate your subscription and receive updates
Computer Security Pro Server Security
The system requirements for Computer Security Pro Server Security are:
  • Operating System: Windows Server 2003 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Server 2008 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Server 2008, R2 Small Business Server 2003, Small Business Server 2008
  • Processor: Intel Pentium 4, 2GHz or higher
  • Memory: 1 GB of RAM
  • Disk space to install: 260 MB free hard disk space
  • Disk space for processing: 10 GB or more free hard disk space
